Ballarat Flash is a monthly writing competition open only to Ballarat Writers members. The parameters for the next competition are usually decided at each monthly Members Night by those who attend.
Formerly Ballarat Flash Fiction, Ballarat Flash now encourages entries from any form including poetry, prose and non-fiction.
The winner is announced firstly at our Members Night each month, then on this website, on social media and our newsletter. Prizes change from month to month, but could include things like stationery, books, coffee vouchers etc.
